Currently employed as a Head of Technical Assessments & Principal Consultant, working across sectors such as oil and gas, utility, transport, telecom, mining, and broadcast. Holding a master’s degree in computer science and a host of professional certifications including IEC62443, CISSP, OSCP, CRTP, CRTO, BOSIET, C|EH, Security+, and CCNA.
With a comprehensive background in Attack Surface Management, Red teaming and Pentesting, Risk Management, Internal Auditing, Cybersecurity Commissioning. Charit has practical experience with industry best practices standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443/ISA 99, NERC CIP, NIST SP800-82, NIST800-53, architecture frameworks (SABSA), Regulatory Standards, cyber security tools and technologies. Performed end to end industrial cyber security projects for various critical infrastructures across Middle East, Australia, UK, Europe, South East Asia and China.
Apart from this, Charit has authored 3 packet analysis books on how to use Wireshark for network security assessments and forensics exercises, titled “Mastering Wireshark”, “Wireshark Revealed” and “Wireshark 2”. One of his books has been translated to Mandarin as well.
